Chapter One First Crossing, Encountering an Ambush

  “Bang! Splash! Clang!”

“Ouch, damn it! Who the hell ran into me?”

A rough man was knocked down by Fang Yichen who had crossed over and suddenly appeared in the market, rolling more than ten feet away and knocking over many things.

As he groaned in pain, he cursed loudly. This curse immediately attracted a dozen men who surrounded him with unfriendly expressions.

Seeing their hostile faces, any hint of apology that had risen in Fang Yichen’s heart vanished instantly! He knew that there might be big trouble today and couldn't help but think to himself:

“It seems like there's no way to resolve this today! I just happen to need some practice with you guys! Heyhey!”

Fang Yichen had practiced martial arts since he was young. Although not overly aggressive by nature, having martial arts skills since childhood had instilled a rather combative character in him.

Later, due to the reason for going to school, there was a period when he paused midway. However, since receiving the infusion of energy into his personal space, his confidence in his physical strength has been somewhat through the roof.

He had been looking for someone to spar with, and now someone had foolishly come forward, making him feel a bit eager for action.

Although Fang Yichen usually carried himself in a low-key and amiable manner, deep down, there was a hint of violence within him.

In ordinary life, as long as nothing provokes him, everything remains peaceful. However, if one does provoke him, that hidden violent side deep within him will erupt.

“Hey hey! This one looks like a rich young master with tender skin and delicate flesh!”

A burly man chuckled and looked at Fang Yichen as if he had spotted a fat sheep.

The other men beside him also laughed and started to slowly close in on him.

“Hold on! What do you want to do?”

“I just bumped into him, can't I just apologize and call it a day?”

“If you want to start a fight, are you sure you a bunch of cowards can handle the consequences ?”

Fang Yichen pointed at the burly man whom he had accidentally knocked over when he was teleported through time and space and intentionally cursed loudly.

In the current situation, he didn't want to cause trouble, but they were provoking him! So, he decided to strike while the iron was hot and make a big deal out of it!

“Damn it! You knocked me down and hurt me, and you think an apology will fix everything? Dream on!”

“Compensate me! You can't leave without paying up!”

A burly man beside him is now supporting the man who was groaning on the ground just now. With one hand on his waist, he stands up with a pained expression on his face.

His facial muscles twitched as he glared fiercely at Fang Yichen and shouted:

“Compensate? Is this an extortion attempt?”

“Heh heh! Don't even think about it!”

  “Get lost! Don’t provoke me!”

Fang Yichen’s face revealed a fierce expression and knowing that he couldn't show weakness in this kind of situation.

Nowadays, unlike in modern times with strict legal regulations, street fights are all about who's tougher and who has the bigger fists!

The man with a full face of flesh, upon seeing Fang Yichen alone, was unexpectedly confrontational. Just as he was about to launch into a tirade, he suddenly felt a hand patting him on the shoulder.

The burly man was about to get angry, but when he turned his head and saw who it was, his expression immediately changed. He quickly put on a fawning smile and bowed and saying:

  “Boss! Boss hello, Heyhey...”

  “Shut up!”

The burly man’s words were cut short by Boss, who stood a head taller than him. Without even glancing at the burly man, he turned to Fang Yichen and said:

“Guy, you think you can just walk away after injuring someone without compensating? It's not that easy.”

“I have so many mouths to feed. If you don't compensate with a hundred or two hundred taels of silver, you won't be leaving here today!”

“If you didn't bring any money, it’s okay. Tell Boss where is your home , and I’ll have someone send a message to your family and ask them to pay for your release!”

“Guy, you better come with Boss now! Once your family brings the silver, we'll naturally let you go.”

With that, regardless of Fang Yichen’s agreement, Boss waved his hand to his men and said, “Brothers, take him away!”

Upon hearing their leader’s command, several burly men excitedly surrounded Fang Yichen, ready to take action.

“Damn it! When the tiger doesn’t show its might, people think I’m just a sick cat!”

Fang Yichen sneered coldly, then swiftly raised his leg and kicked one of the men squarely in the stomach, sending him flying backward.

The man let out a miserable cry as he was kicked, sending his buttocks soaring into the air and knocking down a strong man behind him. Both of them rolled two feet away.

The man who was kicked clutched his stomach, blood oozing from the corner of his mouth, contorting in agony on the ground, unable to utter a moan, evidently in extreme pain.

The man he knocked down also wore a pained expression, lying on the ground and groaning continuously.

Fang Yichen’s feet had not yet landed and he continued to kick the heads of the two ruffians to the left and right.

After two muffled groans, the two ruffians were kicked in the head and fell to the ground, their faces covered in blood and passing out.

As Fang Yichen’s body just touched the ground, he suddenly heard the sound of wind behind his head.

He tilted his head to the right, avoiding a punch from behind, then quickly reached out his right hand and grabbed the man’s wrist, lifting his left foot backward.

In an instant, he heard a short and miserable scream from behind, as if a rooster being choked while crowing, obviously in excruciating pain.

Just now, this ruffian took advantage of him kicking the first ruffian to quietly sneak up behind him for a surprise attack.

Although Fang Yichen did not have his spatial awareness with him at the moment, he still had a faint sense of space, how could he be caught off guard by a ruffian?

Stopping his feet, he performed a shoulder throw. A strong man was flipped over his shoulder and slammed firmly onto the bluestone floor.

“Snap!” A crisp sound rang out, and the strong man curled up on the bluestone floor, clutching his crotch, writhing in agony.

The other strong men were scared by Fang Yichen’s series of clean and neat moves, and kept retreating not daring to approach again.

Seeing this situation, Fang Yichen smirked and stepped forward into the crowd.

His movements were like a fierce tiger, between raising his legs and swinging his fists, several figures flew out of the battle circle, crashing onto the bluestone floor, unable to get up, only able to twist and groan in pain.

Soon, he cut through the group of ruffians, leaving only a few disheartened ruffians who quickly scattered.

Tall and with long legs, Fang Yichen was extremely fast. He caught up and delivered a series of punches and kicks, knocking down the remaining fish that slipped through the net.

At this point, over a dozen ruffians were all lying on the ground, rolling and wailing in agony.

He clapped his hands, as if he had just soiled them during the fight.

Looking at the pitiful appearance of these ruffians, a curve formed at the corner of Fang Yichen’s mouth, and a feeling of satisfaction surged in his heart.

  “Spit!”

He spat vehemently on the ground, mockingly glancing at the ruffians on the ground and his expression turning cold as he turned to look at the Big Tiger.

At this point, the Boss’s face had turned deathly pale, knowing that he had kicked the iron plate this time, and immediately wanted to make a hasty retreat.
